About the Author
Grant Watson was born in Whyalla, South Australia, in 1976. He currently lives in Perth, Western Australia, with one wife, no children and two cats.
Grant studied theatre and drama at Murdoch University, while he also briefly lectured and tutored on such diverse topics as Australian literature, new media art and Philip K. Dick. During the past decade he has worked periodically as an actor, director and playwright.
In April 2000, Grant debuted The Angriest Video Store Clerk in the World inside the pages of the fanzine Instant Coffee (edited by Sue-Ann Barber). He has since independently distributed nine issues of the comic, which in turn received two Australian Science Fiction Achievement “Ditmar” Awards, was adapted twice for the theatre and once as a network television pilot - which did not, sadly, go to series.
